Christmas Project

Happy Holidays!
Since I have a slight obsession with the Beatles, I decided to take it to the next level, with this.
I know its a bit weird but I had fun making it. I tried the best I could with the tree and ornaments and had it suspended from the ceiling. Secondly, I added some music notes to actually make it look like they're most likely making music. Originally the notes has a white background and I knew an easier way to get rid of the white without wasting time and erasing it all. Don't question why they're small sized and singing on a piano... Just don't.
Lastly, I added a very 'nice' and 'colorful' background and I displayed the text 'A Beatles Christmas' to finish it off.

Magic Lamp

The project I have just finished has been one of the more 'interesting' projects I've done. I really liked this project because everytime I look at it, it reminds me how intriguing it is. Including the girls facial expression and the spiders, the spider webs, and well, mostly everything. The timeline was a new feature we had to use and it was a lot easier than expected. Also I learned how to use new brushes to decorate certain items such as the smoke and the spiders. I loved this project.

Invisible Man

In this project, I probably have used the most masks I ever have used at any project I've ever done. I definitely learned more about them then I used to. We've used the clone stamp and pattern stamp a couple times before and they've always been a struggle for me. For the jeans, I finally learned how to use them both and it was a lot easier than expected. The head part though and getting the collar to look right, was a bit of a struggle too. I learned that I was just making it a lot harder then it really is. Overall, this project was quite 'interesting' to do.

Me, Myself and I

This project was very entertaining to work at. Mr. Cole took a picture of us using his camera and we first had to convert it from camera raw, so we could work on it through Photoshop. I learned how to  use the healing brush and clone stamp to work on realistic pictures.  I especially liked when we used blend modes and filters to create the effect of skin softening. This was an awesome project.

The Raven follow-up

This is the follow up to The Raven CD cover that we finished. One of my favorite books is the Rot and Ruin series by Jonathan Maberry, and which this DVD cover is supposed to portray. We used the same step process we used for the Raven project so I found this to be pretty easy. The DVD itself is supposed to be a collage of the different "Zombie Cards" the kids collect in the books, with a quote by one of my favorite characters Tom Imura; "Stay Warrior Smart".

The Raven

In this project I had to use the 3D action panel and the vanishing point feature which was pretty new to me. I had some troubles with it at first because I had a hard time with the ceiling, but then I found out an easier way to select it. I feel like I did a pretty good job with this project. And I had lots of fun making it. In the end we had to portray the Edgar Allen Poe poem , "The Raven" as a CD case. The quote on the CD is one of Edgar Allen Poe's most famous quotes.

DreamSkin

In this project we incorporated lots of different channel usage. We started with the texture and faded it to appear on the skin well, and masked out the eyes. I like the eyes the best because I made them different colors by selecting them and adjusting the hue. Plus, I just think they're just pretty.

Flying out of Bounds

For this awesome project, I used the quick selection tool to select the snowboarder with some auto color to make it look better. Also, I used channels to select the snow.

This is my follow up to flying out of bounds, I dont think its as good, but I tried. I just really like Kingdom Hearts.
